About the Site
Okay, so why make a fanlisting about Aldarn? He's not exactly a main character, right? Well, my friend, that is exactly why Aldarn deserves a fanlisting. Aldarn is an awesome character, in my opinion the best in the whole series, and yet he's hardly in any episodes! He's an original character who never appeared in the comics, so you'd think the creators would be eager to show him off throughout the series. However, since he's been appearing more prominently recently, I can only hope that this means that Aldarn will soon be getting the glory he deserves. In the meantime, he at least deserves fan support, right?

When the show first started, I never thought much of Aldarn apart from, "Oh, yeah, he's cool." But when he disappeared for several episodes after "Ambush at Torus Filney," I found myself craving Aldarn's return more and more. I went back and watched the old episodes and realized, "Hey, he's not just a good character—he's a GREAT character! And we need more of him!" Now, I eagerly anticipate each new episode, hoping that I'll catch a glimpse of the pointy-eared rebel hero. And when I do, the house shakes with my squeals of delight. Aldarn rules!

The site is titled "Bravery" because I found that to be a word that perfectly exemplifies Aldarn. He willingly risks his life time and time again in order to do what he feels is right, to help the opressed people of Meridian, dispose of Phobos, and restore the rightful heir to the throne. He's pulled off more than one death-defying feat throughout the series, and still keeps on smiling; now, that's bravery that should be honored.

Just as a side note—when this site was started, Aldarn had only been in three episodes: "It Begins," "The Key," and "Ambush at Torus Filney." However, after the creation of this site and the upsurgence of loud-mouthed Aldarn fans (*high-fives Beginner150*), Aldarn made a return in the show. He appeared in a total of ten episodes in Season 1 (that's five more episodes than Matt, who's "supposed" to be a "main character," appeared in during S1), including being the central character in "Caleb's Challenge." Aldarn also appeared in seven episodes in the second season, and is featured on the non-US opening sequence. While I know it's unrealistic, I'd like to at least think that we fans had something to do with it. ^_^
