I'm the lead decipherer of the Atlantean language. It's based on European and Indian languages, with a little bit of everything. The writing system is mostly Phoenician with some Futhark and a pinch of everything. I have a Facebook group now, we have a very slow Yahoo Group. Google "Atlantean L...

FREE ATLANTEAN FONT WRITES BACKWARDS

I looked around the board, and it looks like regular posting might have ceased 3-5 years ago. But Lisa, keep the board up if you can, new members join nonetheless, fans of the movie and interested folks, and we can all come back here when we want and post this and that. +++ I invented a font that ty...

It was something like my mom bought me some cookies while I was at fine arts camp, and they had this code on them. I forget if I was into codes, I think I had been since a few years before that. It was something I said on my interview for my paper-delivering job in 1998. A Yanut 162825 Haramak 7 Ag ...

I think it's "Dateya-top, saldup." Yet it's sung by a child's voice, not by an adult, as you would expect of her mother. Maybe it's part of a child's nursery rhyme or something. I wish Okrand would tell us.

Daughter-o, come.

O Daughter, come.

This is what I eventually got for her prayer, which she says instead of what was in the script. +Gabre sel-i-kem ke-kem ’-tot damut *gabr-in+ You.all.familiar sel-i-P1 ke-P1 -S1 damut *gabr-in. We (sel)-ed you-all, we (ke), it is (damut) your-all's. We (comfort)-ed you-all, we (call), it is (househo...

I listened to it a million times. I'm pretty sure that all the non-script stuff in the movie (like what's on the soundtrack) was made by Okrand. Some of it occurs elsewhere in the canon, sometimes with translation in English, sometimes not. The Shepherd's Journal is all un-translated Atlantean. My &...

Whoa, happy birthday! I turned 24 last Friday, Sept. 3. I try to make the most of it, because I read that as you get older, you can't get as many things done in a day.

Yeah, I don't count the second movie as canon, it was so lame. They should've just been like, "Here's excerts from a sell-out T.V. series we made but then canned." But whatever, it's kind-of tripped-out. We got the first movie, too, and maybe some new ideas for fanfic. There's probably eve...

Yeah, life is weird for me. After exploring the caves, I got the degree and got a job teaching languages (English mostly) and studying Chinese in Siberian China. I met my wife after Mass in a crypt (subterranean) chapel, who's from a tropical island, speaks an exotic language, and lost her father (n...

The only thing I've been able to discern, so far, is that in "Crystal Chamber" a little girl might say "Saldup." This would mean, "Come out," as if Kida is beckoning her mother back. "Saldup" is a verb root meaning "come back" and when verb roots hav...

Hello Again, KFU !

Hey everybody! I hope you're all doing alright. I just wanted to check in. I think I told the board, but I found my Kida in China and got marrried in the Philippines. "Where the dream takes you," I know. I'm still studying Atlantean over at Yahoo Group Atlantean Language Group, and current...
