The Dark Ones
Most of you have probably read my Atlantis fanfiction because it is so obnoxiously old. But for a long time I have been wanting to revise "The Dark Ones" and fix some things that bothered me about it. I have FINALLY done it!
The new version has fixed grammar and punctuation, better continuity, and some new scenes. I hope that, if you have read it and liked it, you will take the opportunity to re-read it; and if you've never read it, I'd greatly appreciate it if you would do so when you get a moment!

I found this the other day on Fanfiction. The writing was fantastic and it was quite a gripping story line. I think if the writing and the story line hadn't of been so good I would have read the first page and left it, because Romances are not my type of Genre.
On a side note: Darn! I had spent ages coming up with a story line and when I finally had one and started writing it up, I find this. You went into the future and stole my idea
. Only with drastic variations. Meh, I'm going to carry on writing it anyway, its a differant genre afterall.

Its very hard to find something that hasn't already been done somewhere. Though sometimes you can find things that haven't been done the way you think them up. I mean, if everything had already been done by someone else, none of us would have any original creativity left.
For my ATLE fanfic, I hook a girl up with Mole. Honestly, how many times have you seen THAT done? No one ever writes a love interest for him.
And recycled or borrowed plots isn't a bad thing, as long as you don't just copy someone elses work. If I can get my series finished, I plan on taking ideas from unmade ATLE series episodes. I got the ideas from wikipedia. Apparently one episode was supposed to feature the Loch Ness Monster, and I'm totally using that in one of my stories.
